Our roots go back to a dream and an intuition: St Geltrude Comensoli's dream of founding a religious institute dedicated to adoration; and the intuition of Pope Leo XIII who suggested that she dedicate herself to the human and spiritual care of young girls, especially workers.
on 15 December 1882 in Bergamo, the first adoration before the picture of the Sacred Heart began. On 26 April 2009, Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed her a saint. He emphasising the relevance of her testimony said, “In a lost and often wounded society, as is ours, to today's youth who are in search of values and of a meaning to give to their existence, Saint Gertrude indicates, as a firm point of reference, the God who in the Eucharist has become a companion on our journey
Our charism reflects the unique spirit and mission that inspires and guides our actions, rooted in compassion, service, and a deep commitment to the community.
Jesus-Eucharist is the love of our life and we want to tell everyone! By being with Him, we get to know Him better and better, we discover Him at work in our life and in history. The prayer of adoration is the soul of our mission in the world.
